Let's Talk About Translation

Sometimes we only need a break! Try this small meditation! How did it make you feel?  

We are at the end of another year, and this is the best time to check the ending year and start preparing for the new year. What can we do as translators? I leave you here some tips on what I usually do. The first I do is take care of my e-mail. I do backups of the most important e-mails and then eliminate everything until December. This will help free up my e-mail and to have more space. It’s normal to receive many files, and some are big. I also check my CVs (I have one in English and another in Portuguese). I check my information and update it with, for instance, new phone number, e-mail, website or even LinkedIn. I indicate webinars, courses or CPD that I have done related to translation, courses and trainings that I had taught, and other information that is more important for me at the time, to help me get more clients.
